Super tasty Kaiserschmarrn (with caramelized almonds)! Very nice and courteous service + boss!

Difficult to reach during the construction of the mountain railway. Once at the top, hikers can look forward to a beautiful view of the Nebelhorn or, sitting on the terrace, a view of the valley that is relatively restricted by the trees. On the Alpe itself, a modernly designed guest room awaits the guest, but a semi-motivated employee at the self-service window and quite high prices (e.g. sliced ​​meat with spaetzle € 14.90) for food and drinks of average quality and quantity. All in all, not necessarily worth a visit with catering here. Not too bad, however, so as not to stop on the way up (as long as the path should be open).

Were today on Saturday after a strenuous ascent on the Seealpe. Unfortunately it was closed. No notice - neither on the homepage nor on site. Even at the inn it said "open". All the signs with the corresponding daily offers were outside. No one to be seen. That was disappointing and from my point of view is not acceptable.

After a seven kilometer hike, a welcome place for us to take a break. Kaiserschmarrn, apple strudel with warm vanilla sauce and a pot of coffee made us very satisfied. And the mountain panorama let all worries and fears be forgotten for a moment ... if an unfriendly waitress hadn't reminded us of the times we live in and the guest, under the pretext of Corona, felt like a supplicant. This is a no go for me with all understanding and only worth two points for the good food and drinks.

The climb here is worth it. Very tasty food and the view from the terrace is picturesque.

Always worth a goal. The view alone is amazing. But the food there is always (and I've been there many times) delicious. The staff is (despite Corona) super friendly and courteous.

I have not experienced anything uncomfortable and unfriendly in a long time. Unfortunately, the only way to get something to drink or eat up here. When I asked whether self-service was here, the only answer was "I don't speak German". Well, girl then work somewhere else. After a whitewashed beer I am gone here. The construction noise makes it uncomfortable anyway.

The view is nice, but the schnitzel was chewy and just fat. The prices are questionably high even for a mountain hut and the portions are small. An adult man is not necessarily fed up with it. Potato salad is out of the bucket, but with a large company it is usually not to be expected otherwise. We would not eat there a second time and we were both very disappointed. Then you'd better take a good snack with you, because you know what you're getting.

A great place to stay. The hosts are super friendly and helpful. Eating and drinking is good. The price is reasonable.

We ate and drank something. The service was very nice and relaxed. Since it wasn't that full, it was easy to order something from the afternoon menu in the morning. I can highly recommend the snack and the Kaiserschmarrn. The latter was wonderfully fluffy and perfectly seasoned with cinnamon. The portion was big. Unfortunately, the inn is currently embedded in a construction site. Unfortunately, this reduces the otherwise wonderful view. Some hiking trails are also not accessible.

We are in a nice weather with our dog wandern.Trotz full house, the service was very friendly to us. We drank two cyclists and ate noodles with goulash. If it is warm in the valley and want to hike high should not forget his jacket.

Excellent Schnitzel and Reiberdatschi

Home at Nebraska's first station. It is located about 1285 meters above sea level and is an excellent example of mountain architecture. Every Friday is live music in the house. There is a special experience of shedding to Oberstdorf. Sweatshirts can be rented in a tripod. The person is susceptible. Prices are not too high. There is also a way for mountaineers, but if you are not in good physical condition, I would not recommend hiking in the winter.

Beautifull place good food

Friendly place with pleasant stuff, alone on the 1st lift cabin stop gives them possibility to be overpriced. The food is typical but nothing extra. The Cola wasn't tasty and 'salad' without a piece of vegetables 😁 I recommend a local food like a bread with cheese and ham. The strawberry cake was like from supermarket and not tasty as well as spray-cream. Apfelstruedel was great! Not - friendly to vegans, I recommend to take your own food for sure. 😁

After a tough hike up from the center of Oberstdorf, we were able to relax at gasthof seealpe. Service was fast and friendly and drinks and lunch delivered quickly. I had cottage cheese with fresh fruits. Recommended.
